Using task templates
Efficiency is key to success and to help you work more efficient while managing your project you can create multiple tasks at once by using task templates.
You can define as many task templates as you want and you choose what task types each template should create.
A task template can be applied via the tasks spreadsheet:
by using the Create dialog. Click the Create button in the toolbar above the spreadsheet and select what object you would like to create. Select Shot, for instance, in the menu. In the dialog that appears, you can select a task template to apply when creating the shot. Tasks with defined task types in the selected template will be created automatically when the shot is created. Note that you will not be able to use task templates on all kinds of objects.
or by right-clicking in the spreadsheet. Right-click on the object in the spreadsheet you would like to create tasks on, and select Task templates and the template you would like to apply. Tasks with defined task types in the selected template will be created automatically.
The green background color indicates that the rows are new and not yet saved.
