Managing your account
Your account and notifications settings can be changed by clicking your profile picture in the top bar and selecting My account.
Whenever there are unsaved changes, a save button will appear. This way you will always know when you have unsaved changes.
Personal API key
You can find you API key on your account page. You select and copy it to use it in ftrack connect or your custom integrations.
On the Account settings page you can change your basic information such as your first name, last name, email address and password. You can also change how dates are displayed, the fuzzy date setting. When its enabled dates are displayed relative to now eg. two days ago.
Only the administrator of your ftrack account can change your username.
To change your profile picture, either drag and drop an image file to the thumbnail on the account settings page or move the mouse over it and click to open a Browse dialog.
Changing your password
To change your password from the Account page, enter your new password twice and click Save.
Resetting your password
On the login page, click the Forgot your password? link to show the reset password form. Enter either the email address or username associated with your account and click Request. Follow the instructions in the email that is sent to your associated email address.
Only passwords for user accounts managed by ftrack can be changed using this service. For accounts provided by another system, such as Google Apps or LDAP, please contact your system administrator to reset your password.
On the notification settings page you can set how to be notified and what information you want to be notified about. You can find the page by clicking your name in the top right corner of ftrack, selecting Settings in the menu and then Notifications in the menu to the left.
There are two basic options on how to be notified: internal notifications and email notifications. To turn on notifications for a certain type, add the notification options that you want. To turn them off, simply remove the options. The third option, Include in digest e-mail, is the setting that determines whether or not to include the notification type in your digest emails.

Daily email digests
As part of the notifications settings, you can also configure a daily digest. This is a great way to get all the information you need gathered into one email. Perfect if you don’t like to receive email on every little thing that occurs.
